Introducing our all-new Field Team (FT) Pit Stops

Our Field Team engagement team have created ‘Field Team Pit Stops’. A new way to engage prospective and current field teams across the UK. Alex Clark explains more.
At Ground Control, our field teams are driving our award-winning projects and maintenance and delivery customer services to our world-class satisfaction. To continue connecting our teams, showcasing best practices and allowing new field teams to see what working with Ground Control is all about, we’re launching our first-ever Field Team (FT) Pit Shops.
What are Field Team (FT) Pit Stops?
FT Pit Stops are a new, nationwide programme designed to connect our field teams, Contract Managers, and partners at a local level. Allowing people to ask meaningful questions, meet with supplies, and learn from field teams who share their experiences.
Our current teams can talk, share ideas, raise issues, and strengthen relationships in the field, whereas teams looking to join Ground Control can find out exactly what it is like to be part of our GC community. With a friendly, no-pressure atmosphere, each event will include:
Meet-and-greets with Ground Control Contract Managers and the opportunity for live feedback and two-way conversations
Exclusive discounts and trade incentives from suppliers on tools, PPE, equipment, and more
Where are the first pit stops?
The first event will take place at Ellesmere Port and is open to field teams, prospective contractors, or clients interested in how Ground Control supports its teams. No need to register, just come along on the day!
- Location: Ellesmere Port, Canal & Waterways Museum
- Date: Wednesday 20th August 2025
- Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
