Ground Control has received the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award

This Gold Award reflects our long-term commitment to supporting veterans, reservists, service leavers, and military families.

It recognises the practical support, policies, and opportunities we have established, as well as our dedication to championing the Armed Forces community beyond our own organisation.

This award is the result of years of effort across the business. It acknowledges not only the policies and commitments we have implemented, but also the real opportunities and support we have provided for members of the Armed Forces community.

Our application highlighted:

* Supporting veterans, reservists and military families through our people policies and practices
* Running our Veterans Network and raising awareness of it across the business
* Building Armed Forces-friendly recruitment approaches, including support for service leavers
* Giving reservists dedicated support as they balance military and civilian careers
* Embedding Armed Forces Covenant principles in our supply chain, through supplier engagement, supplier meetings and our Supplier Code of Conduct
* Encouraging other organisations to sign the Covenant themselves

Most importantly, we have moved beyond making commitments and are now active advocates for the Armed Forces community, both within Ground Control and throughout our broader network.

This is something everyone at Ground Control can be proud of.
