Ground Control tackle Snowdon
A fantastic effort from the whole team this weekend, who took the long trek up Snowdon in 30 degree heat! Many people across different departments and offices took the challenge supporting each other to reach this great achievement.
The team tackled the Rhyd Ddu Path route, showcasing incredibly impressive views!
Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. Mind offers support and advice to anyone experiencing a mental health problem, while also campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
GC Snowdon pioneers; Rob Miller, Jenn Nelson and James Sadler, commented:
“It was great to see a group of people across different departments and offices supporting each other to achieve a common goal, most who have never met before. Many friendships were formed and forged on the way to the mountain summit and you should all be thoroughly proud of your achievements.
We have raised a fantastic amount of money, more than doubling our original target! In addition, we would also like to thank Ground Control for supporting this event, which included the campsite fees and company leave for those of you that requested it.
We would like to do something bigger and better for 2019, so watch this space!”
