Ground Control support Essex Wildlife Trust with new project

Earlier this year, Ground Control donated some money towards Essex Wildlife Trust’s Living Landscapes project at Danbury Ridge, where they are planting one kilometre of mixed native hedgerow.

As a result, a number of volunteers from Ground Control gave up their time to assist with the conservation work in Sandon (near Chelmsford). The team spent the day working alongside representatives from Essex Highways, planting spruces which will grow into a 400m hedgerow.

Emma Ormond, EWT Living Landscapes Coordinator commented; “A blustery but beautiful day! A massive thank you to Ground Control for their generous financial support and practical assistance of the Essex Wildlife Danbury Ridge Living Landscape hedgerow planting project this winter!”
