Ground Control Limited is a winner in the RoSPA Awards 2014
Ground Control is delighted to announce that we have been awarded our fourth consecutive RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Gold award.
Health and Safety is an integral feature of our business model so to win this award for a fourth consecutive year represents an incredible achievement for all members across our business. We always prioritise the safety of our employees and clients in every project we take on board, while we actively seek to reward our employees for positive example of Health and Safety awareness.
The RoSPA awards scheme was first formed 58 years ago and recognises the commitment to continuous safety improvements with regards to accident and ill health prevention at work. The scheme is open to all varieties of organisations across the UK and overseas and is judged on the entrants’ ability to demonstrate comprehensive occupational health and safety management.
Philip Trehern, Client Services and HS Director, said;
“The internationally recognised RoSPA awards are the longest running and most highly respected occupational safety awards programme. They cross all sectors and have become the most sought after accolade by organisations who wish to prove their ongoing commitment to raising health and safety standards. As one such company, we are delighted to announce our fourth successive Gold Award. A big thank you to all those who wear their PPE, maintain their machines, follow safe systems of work and actively contribute to our safety culture. Keep putting safety and wellbeing at the top of our daily agendas and remember, Safety Matters.”
David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, congratulated Ground Control for being an inspiration to other organisations striving to reach similar standards of safety in the workplace;
“The RoSPA Awards encourage the raising of occupational health and safety standards across the board. Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as Ground Control Limited, contribute to a collective raising of the bar for other organisations to aspire to, and we offer them our congratulations.”
Following our entry submission earlier this year we would like to send a special message of thanks to Greg Buckley, HSQE Manager, Clare Riley-Dawson, Business Development Coordinator, and Darren Kilby, Head of Bids and Communications. Their outstanding efforts in putting together a successful application, highlights Ground Control’s continuous mission to implement the highest standards of Health and Safety.
