Ground Control awarded UK-wide Sainsbury’s contract
Ground Control is delighted to announce that following a competitive tender for landscaping and grounds maintenance services for Sainsbury’s stores, we have been awarded a landscape maintenance contract for Sainsbury’s whole UK wide portfolio of over 500 stores.
Ground Control has been working in partnership with Sainsbury’s since 2006 delivering landscaping services and Ground Control’s Key Account Manager for Sainsbury’s, Alice Cherry, is looking forward to ensuring exemplary service are now delivered UK-wide.
With the new contract works commencing in April, Ground Control has begun collaborative mobilisations with the ARCUS FM and Sainsbury’s to ensure a smooth transition and seamless delivery of our award winning service.
Ground Control’s Contract Director, Jay Hancocks, was delighted with the award of the new contract:
“It is a hugely exciting opportunity for Ground Control to be able to work hand in hand with such a valued customer on such a comprehensive and well known estate.”
The news continues a great start to the year, following the award of new contracts with WPD, Sovereign Housing and Embrace Care Homes, to name a few. The win also follows the Winter Maintenance team’s success of breaking Ground Control’s all time high record of seasonal gritting visits numbers before the season has even entered its final month.
