Grit bin service

Benefit from a Ground Control Gritting salt bin service that is:

Scheduled: Twice yearly visits in November and January. Perfect for smaller, single-office locations and hard-to-reach parts of your main sites.
On-demand: You notify us that your bin needs filling, and we attend the site within 48-72 hours during the normal winter season.
Check and fill service: Where you have subscribed to our gritting service, but have bins on site for your use, we will inspect the bin in conjunction with gritting and fill it when required.

Salt supply service

Ground Control Gritting can supply brown rock salt and white and marine salt.

Customers can choose from:

Pallets of 25kg bag of salt: Perfect for you to store and then distribute on-site, for example using a push spreader for areas you wish to grit yourself
One-tonne bags of salt: These are ideal if you have areas of your site, for example, a bonded supply area, where you deliver your service manually or with a small spreader. You can dispense directly from the bag, or lift the bag with a telehandler to offload the contents
Loose salt: Benefit from economies of scale with loose salt, delivered directly to the area.

If you have multiple bins on site, our prices recognise the efficiency of filling more than one at a time.
By buying our salt in bulk, we save, you save.
When you first request a fill, we will set up your bins on our system, so that our teams know where they are, and upon receipt of payment/purchase order, will arrange the service.
