Ground Control team leader raises over £6000 for Thames Valley Ambulance
Ground Control construction team leader Chris Bridgman recently completed an Arctic Trek challenge in aid of Thames Valley Air Ambulance. Chris took double the challenge, husky sledging 250km across the Arctic, followed by a 320 mile cycle ride across Europe.
“I want to thank Ground Control for your very generous sponsorship and support. The five-day expedition began in Tromso, Norway and finished, 250km later, in Jukkasjarvi, Sweden. During the journey I passed the tri-Nation border between Norway, Sweden and Finland, rode over frozen lakes and through the rolling highlands and forests of Lapland. I endured temperatures as low as -25 degrees, camping in tents and basic wooden huts along the way. Of course, I couldn’t have done it without my wonderful team of Alaskan Huskies who ensured I reached my destination.”
Chris has raised a total of £5,631 in total for Thames Valley Air Ambulance so far which is fantastic! If you would like to sponsor, please visit: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/chris-bridgman1
