Ground Control join Essex Wildlife Trust for cake bake fundraiser
Last month, Ground Control took part in Essex Wildlife Trust’s Great Garden Cake Bake fundraiser. With great involvement from the whole team at Ground Control’s HQ in Billericay, 15 bakers took part, bringing some very colourful and inventive cakes along to sell, raising a fantastic £320 including Ground Control’s match funding! All bakers were given wildflower seeds and herb plants on the day as thanks for their efforts.
Keen baker and wildlife enthusiast; Business Analyst Amanda Fallan, was delighted to get involved; “It was a brilliant day, bringing the whole team together in the name of wildlife, and cake of course! We really enjoyed it; a great opportunity to raise money for Essex Wildlife in our 11th year of membership.”
