Health & Safety
The health and safety of our people and customers is our number one priority and we pride ourselves on our extensive efforts to work incident and injury free. We use an established method of risk assessment to identify the issues associated with our operations and we employ effective control measures to minimise the likelihood of incidents occurring.
Without exception, every member of our staff undertakes comprehensive, on-going training to ensure they understand how to create a safe working environment.
At the local level our operational managers and supervisors implement appropriate control measures for specific tasks. An eight person strong Compliance Team ensures that the most significant safety issues are reported to the Board of Directors who then allocate the necessary resources and make sure certain action is taken.
We recognise and reward positive attitudes and behaviour and promote health and safety initiatives at the local and national level. Our culture of safety has led to the achievement of a RoSPA Gold Award for the last five years.
