Caring for our Environment

Our stated commitment is to reduce consumption, reuse, recycle and conserve where appropriate. These policies are integral to our long term client relationships and wellbeing of our staff. ‘Caring for our environment’ is incorporated into our logo as an active reminder. For us, sustainability is a cultural belief.

As a multi stream business, we manage and improve working environments, encourage biodiversity, as well as protect and enhance habitats.


Ground Control is accredited to:-

ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System, which comprises of policies and procedures that are audited by third party NQA (UKAS approved consultants). This system incorporates sustainability and carbon foot printing.

FORS – Bronze Fleet Management Award (externally audited Fleet Management System); an annual third party audited award.

ESOS – Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (Environment Agency), which is a mandatory scheme that helps identify cost-effective energy saving opportunities that can both save money and carbon emissions. This is a third party audit award.
